About

Brian Claeys is a composer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. As an in-house composer at Sparks and Shadows, Claeys has been a collaborator on the scores for a wide range of films, tv shows, and video games while also releasing music for his personal artist project, Madison Manors.
Born just outside of Washington DC, Brian Claeys began playing piano at a young age and later began his pursuit of a career in music by studying composition for three summers at the Walden School in Dublin, NH. In 2015, Claeys enrolled at Berklee College of Music and quickly became immersed in both the Film Scoring and Electronic Music Production programs, eventually declaring a dual major.
After graduating three years later in 2018, Claeys moved to Los Angeles and accepted an internship at Sparks and Shadows under composer Bear McCreary. After accepting a full-time administrative position at the studio, Claeys began composing additional music for Outlander, The Walking Dead, See, Call of Duty: Vanguard, and The Serpent Queen, as well as assisting McCreary on multiple projects including The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and God of War: Ragnarok. Starting in 2022, Claeys is currently a full-time staff writer at the studio and continues to be a key creative collaborator for McCreary and S&S.
In addition to his compositional work, Claeys also releases solo music under the artist name Madison Manors. His first single, Embers, was released in the fall of 2021, with an EP slated to come out in early 2023.
As a versatile musician with experience in many different fields of music, Brian Claeys is on track to become an innovative and successful musician for years to come.
